Since I’ll be taking the site down before the end of the year, with the intent to replace it with something better, and since I’ve been working on things other than continuing the story, I’ve started work on a little bonus. It’s a short story for those of you who have stuck with the series.
It’s something that will appeal more to those who have read the story so far than it will those who are new to it. You’ll find out what happened the night Joel thought it would be a good idea to drag Dante to the World’s End nightclub, and how his resulting breakdown impacted on those around him.
It involves an attractive rock singer, a love triangle, and a Faerie of Death…

Okay… When should we expect it and where should we see it?
looking forward to it
Oh, you’re taking the site down? Is there some other place I’m supposed to be watching to hear this kind of stuff?
(Watching… Hear… Whatever.)
Attractive rock singer… Someone we know? And yay for the fairie of death, maybe we’ll learn a bit more about this universe.
Though, I must say, is adding to the workload a good idea? Hmm… Probably better than trying to release more Phantasia I guess, if you haven’t got it good now.
There will still be a site at this address, I’ll just be replacing it (to be exact, removing and reinstalling WordPress to wipe any trojan coding that has snuck in, and using that as an excuse to clean things up).
Reinstalls: Anti-hacker techniques.
Cool, so we’ll be seeing a new background probably?
Finally get to see a mysterious Faerie of Death. Lookin’ forward to it. I’ve been away from the site for a while, can’t wait to see the new layout and stuff, Dary.
I remember you still! Barely, but I do! Hey there again.

So I remember this discussion came up a while ago, and I’m actually thinking of starting it off myself. But, anyone here who would like to assist?
I followed the linked page about indexing, and I’m going to go track down some I have seen before about how to write trope pages. Let’s start doing the necessary reading, and see if there’s a definitive guide or something, and actually get this page created.

I found this. Looks reasonably useful.
It’s probably better to wait until everything is fully revived before heading into TV Tropes territory. I now consider anything published thus far to be an “open beta” version, with a much better “official release” coming in 2012!
Seeing as I don’t seem to be getting any help on this anyway, I’m fine with holding off for a while. Maybe when it becomes active again after it all gets redone (which it’d better) I’ll find some assistants.
I dont think writing a tropes page for this at the moment would be a good idea anyway, the story could change in some areas and you’ll have to start over.
*sits and waits until 2012*
If I understand correctly, that’s half of Dary’s point.
But hey, whilst you’re here, can I recruit you for working on it as soon as it all settles down after the big change?
ok, but ive never written a trope before so i’ll have to practice until then… plenty of time
We’re even.
But in my case, practice more means reading a whole lot of stuff. <_<
I'm mostly relying on how TV Tropes encourages anyone to just jump in and have a go.
Yeah, you’ve got plenty of time! I’d say “make notes for future reference”, but since I’ve technically been doing that myself for weeks now, I wouldn’t wish that epic task on anyone!
Well, now you gave me the idea… I could make that two archive binges on my schedule.
