I’m still trying to work out a regular schedule for THINGS. I’ve got into the habit of putting up a new poll every Moon Day and I figured I’d leave the chapter preview until good ol’ Woden’s Day, so I figured I’d use this here Tyr’s Day for…uh…stuff
I’m working on several things for the site other than just the story, but those are taking a backseat since I’m overworking myself (again). Two chapters this week? Well that’s kinda because they started as one and grew so large I had to split them! I think they work better without a week’s break between them, so I’m aiming to have them both up on Thursday. Or Thursday and Friday.
It then gives me two weeks to illustrate a ten-page sequence for #39. Suffice to say it won’t be in colour…well, except for one page, which I’ve already finished. AND HERE IT IS!

Exciting stuff indeed. I coloured that digitally, rather than by hand, which was probably a bad idea: it took 8 hours! Oh, and besides those ten pages there’s also the usual chapter headings… And there might be a couple of pages at the end of #38 when two rather important antagonists make their début (well technically one of them has already appeared…)
I wish I could get onto a 2-chapter-a-week schedule already… I was doing stuff for chapter #52 earlier… Maybe if I decreased the workload… (as if I’d do that – I’m too bloody stupid!)

Wow that’s awesome,
they can now update 3 days a week.
A few things, although i may annoy other fans for suggesting them.
If you feel over worked then try taking a short hiatus to get the stuff prepared in advance, a web comic I read took about a 3 weeks off and they have now got the entire story written up and are now in the process of making part II
It also allows updates if you are ill etc.
Also if the art is too much finding an illustrator, look at drowtails comic they have about 9 artists around the world working of it.
Anyway i’m looking forward to the next instalment. *sets up tent and lights a fire* marshmallows anyone XD
Thanks
I’ve got a Christmas break planned! I’m not going to take a week off before then, though, because the workload piling up is partly my fault for not managing my time better!! I started the ten-page segment a month ago, so if I’d not procrastinated so much I’d have been okay XD
Two week Christmas break should do me fine, though. Especially since I ditched the idea that I’d update twice a week over December as a “Holiday Bonus”. I write at least two chapters a week so I should have a nice backlog by February/March time when I plan on going twice-weekly.
All writers have days were they can’t even look at a pen, managing time usually has nothing to do with it.
