I don’t have a clue what’s happened to the weekend, or my time. I have so much I planned to do, but very little accomplished sitting in front of me (note: I probably expected too much of myself again XD).
But I’ve at least produced this:

Nice art! Despite her cold attitude, Faye is remarkably cute
Dude. Make more. Sell them. Become as Megatokyo.
I think I’ve already had more story time pass in a year’s worth of posting than Megatokyo has in ten D:
I wasn’t talking timeline, I was talking about using their sheer awesomeness in products that can possibly be slightly personalized. It can be anything from a favorite quote to a memorable scene, but it can be marketed as a t-shirt. Artwork generally becomes more valuable the more famous the author becomes. At your current popularity, it wouldn’t be unreasonable to sell such artwork at roughly $25-$30 USD. 3 years from now? It could take up as much as $50 USD if your story gains enough popularity.
I’d pay to have a T-shirt of the scene of Phantasia flying over the pool toward the Landsidhe!
Once I’ve got a logo sorted, I’ll get some t-shirt shenanigans arranged!
That’s absolutely gorgeous. I agree, make some to sell. I know I’d totally buy one if it wasn’t outrageously priced (which I find most things made by artists like yourself are perfectly priced, if not under-priced for the work that goes into them).
That’s what always holds me back from selling things – not knowing the price to put on them XD
I think $25 – $30 USD would be a great price. But I also think you could get away with selling it for even more munnies like $70 or $80 USD. If you could figure out how to streamline the production process and keep costs low, you could probably end up generating a good net profit. Since pounds and euros are worth more than our cute American greenbacks, you will probably feel like you are selling yourself short but convert all your costs to USD to figure your profit and you’re golden. See? Not all blondes are dumb, lol.
Crikey, I was actually thinking $15-20 was the upper limit I could ask XD
The border/frame took somewhere around 3 hours. But that’s including things like taking measurements and designing the basic pattern. Repeating the process would probably take less time, probably 2 hours max. And since I charge about $10/hour when commissioned, I figured $20 was the most I could ask… that’s my logic anyway!
