Phantasia Celeste
A rebellious young faerie who appeared mysteriously during the final days of the last great Apostle War, Phantasia's true identity is an enigma even to the all-knowing Water Queendom. Adopted by its Queen, Thetis, and granted the rank and privileges of a princess, she has lived a free-spirited life filled with mischief and misdemeanours searching for a place in her world.
Some call her a 'demon', as she looks and acts unlike any other faerie, but Queen Thetis believes otherwise. Even so, it eventually becomes clear than the answers to Phantasia's questions lie not in her own world, but in the corrupt, dangerous world of humans. How will people whose nature is fuelled by hatred and competition cope with a young girl who believes love and friendship is the key to the future?
Faye Delphinus
A young Water faerie assigned as Phantasia's handmaiden, the stoic Faye acts as a guide, consoler and friend to the hyperactive princess. Like the rest of her kind she is ruled by logic and reason, and incapable of creative thought. Able to read thoughts and memories - not only of other beings but of the world around her too - she acts only once she has gathered evidence and formed a definitive conclusion.
Although charged with keeping her Princess out of trouble, more often than not she is the one manipulating events around Phantasia to ensure her irresponsible actions don't have serious consequences.
